Day 1

Beijing to Lanzhou, CA1239, 09:25-12:00 or other major cities, flight include - No Meals

You will fly from Beijing or other major cities from China. The internal flight is included. If time permits, visit White Pagoda Mountain Park, Zhangshan Bridge. 

Day 2

Lanzhou to Zhangye by high-speed train, D2711 10:45-13:58 - Breakfast, Lunch

Have a relaxing morning and depart for the high-speed train to Zhangye. Enjoy the scenery out side of the window. After your arrival in Zhangye, get ready for the sunsets moment of the Danxia Landform.

Day 3

Zhangye to Jiayuguan, 250 KM and about 2.5 hours driving - Breakfast, Lunch

Giant Buddha Temple, Drive to Jiayuguan, First Fire Tower of Great Wall, Fresco Tomb of Wei and Jin Dynasty

This morning, you will visit Giant Buddha Temple in Zhangye and
then drive 250 KM and 2.5 hours to Jiayuguan City. You will visit First Fire Tower of Great Wall and The Fresco of Wei and Jin Dynasty. Then check in hotel.

Day 4

Jiayuguan to Dunhuang - Breakfast, Lunch

You will visit Jiayuguan Pass and its Overhanging Great Wall in the morning, then drive 4 hours to Dunhuang and check in at hotel.

Day 5

Dunhuang - Breakfast, Lunch

Han Dynasty Great Wall, Yumen Pass, Mingsha Sand Dunes Area (Crescent Lake), Special visiting-Camel Trekking for sunsetting in Mingsha Sand Dunes Area

You will have the excursion this morning for Han Dynasty Great Wall and Yumenguan Pass. Then spend time at Mingsha Sand Dunes and its special camel trekking for sunseting.

Day 6

Dunhuang to Turpan D2705, 15:35-19:09- Breakfast, Lunch

Mogao Grottoes with special Grottoes, drive to Liuyuan Station (130 KM, 1.5 hours) for the high-speed train

You will spend the whole morning time at Mogao Grottoes with also one or two special grottoes with our professional guide. Then driven to Liuyuan Station for the train to Turpan. After your arrival, you will be picked up and transfer to hotel for check in.

Day 7

Turpan - Breakfast, Lunch

From Turpan City, you will drive one hour to Ancient city of Idikut (Gaochang is Chinese Name) and its local Uighur community, then pass Tuyuk Village, see the The Flaming Mountain and Bezeklik Caves.

Day 8

Turpan to Korla, 5 Hours driving of 400 KM - Breakfast, Lunch

5 Hours driving of 400 KM, Karez System and Bosten Lake

You will visit Karez System in Turpan then drive all the way to Korla. You will stop at the Bosten Lake on the way. After that check in at hotel in Korla.

Day 9

Korla to Kuqa, 300 KM, 4 hours driving - Breakfast, Lunch

Luntai Poplar Forest, drive to Kuqa Hotel check in, Subashi Temple and Kuqa Mosque

You will visit Poplar Forest in Luntai on the way to Kuqa. The Luntai County is a county under the administration of the Bayinguole Mongolia Autonomous Prefecture. It is
located 171km west Korla and 109km east of Kuqa, the north starting point of the longest Desert Road in the world: Luntai – Minfeng Desert Road. Poplar Forest is located in the north of Taklimakan Desert, the middle portion of Tarim River. It is 70 km south to Luntai County. It is the biggest ancient poplar forest park in Xinjiang.

Check in hotel at noontime and then after lunch visit Subashi Temple Ruins and Kuqa Grand Mosque.

Day 10

Kuqa to Aksu - Breakfast, Lunch

Today after breakfast, you will depart for Aksu. You will visit Tianshan Grand Canyon (also called Kuqa Grand Conyon), then visit  Kizil Thousand-Caves and then drive 3 hours to Aksu and check in hotel. 

Day 11

Aksu Karshgar, 6 hours for 500 KM Driving- Breakfast, Lunch

Have a relaxed and later breakfast for recovering the driving for past days. Then you will drive directly to Kashgar today and the total driving is about 6 hours and 500 KM. After check in at hotel, our local guide will take you to do a short trekking at ancient city before Dinner.

Day 12

Karshgar - Breakfast, Lunch

You will visit Karshgar attractions include Abakh Hoja Mausoleum, The Id Kah Mosque and also Mao Statue at People Square.

Day 13

Karshgar to Beijing, CA1478, 16:25-23:00, flight include - Breakfast, Lunch

After breakfast, you will visit Livestock Exchange Market and then visit Big Bazaar if it is open (it always open in Sunday). Or visit Baxkirem Village–home of the best fruits among Kashgar and the only Buddhist remain at Kashgar–Moor Pagoda ruins built around 4th century.

 Then you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Beijing. After your arrival in Beijing, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel for check in.
