Day 1

Destination: Beijing to Chengde by Car

Today' s Activities: Visit the Great Wall Jinshanling and Chengde Summer Resort Scenic Spot.

Meals: Lunch

After breakfast, our guide will pick you up and accompany you to the Chengde Summer Resort, approximately a 3.5 hour drive east of Beijing. En route, drop a visit to Jinshanling Great Wall, which has relatively few tourists and is perfect for  hiking and taking snapshots.

Day 2

Pule Temple, Putuozongcheng Temple (Potala)

Destination: Chengde to Beijing

Today' s Activities: Pule Temple, Putuozongcheng Temple (Potala)

Meals: B, L

Before returning to Beijing, you will visit the Pule Temple, featuring a pavilion-round appearance and the Putuozongcheng Temple, a mixture of Han's traditions and Tibetan archetecture. It is also famous as a replica of Potala Palace.

  2. Meals: All meals as specified in the itinerary.Breakfast is usually a western style buffet. We endeavor to ensure that a choice of western and Chinese breakfasts is supplied; however there may be occasions when only a Chinese breakfast is available in some remote locations.
  3. Private Transfers: Transfers between airports, hotels and scenic spots while sightseeing by private air conditioned vehicle with a driver and English-speaking guide (as listed above).Your comfort is our priority!
  4. Guide: As outlined in the itinerary an English-speaking guide and driver will be provided in each city, who will remain with you throughout your time in that city. A new guide and a new driver will meet you at each city on your tour, to provide you with the best local knowledge available.
  5. Hotels: Hotel fees are based on two people sharing one room with twin beds with all of the tax and service charge included. All hotels as listed in the above itinerary serve daily western or Chinese breakfast. All rooms are air-conditioned with private facilities unless specified.
  6. Service Charge & Government Taxes
  7. Insurance: The insurance is China Life Tourist Accident/Casualty Insurance.
  8. Arrangements: The tour cost includes planning, handling, operational and communication charges.

Cost Excludes:

  1. International Airfare or Train Tickets to enter or leave China.
  2. China Entry Visa Fees.
  3. Excess Baggage Charges: Passengers holding an adult fare or half fare ticket are entitled to a free baggage allowance of 20kg(44 Pounds), for economy class.   4. Personal Expenses: Expenses of a purely personal nature such as laundry, drinks, fax, telephone calls, optional activities, sightseeing or meals which are not included in the tour itinerary.
