Wuxi Transportation
Conveniently situated along the Beijing-Shanghai rail line and intersected by the Great Canal, Wuxi is directly accessible by many forms of transportation to many of China's major cities.
AIR: A small airport services Wuxi with regularly scheduled flights to Beijing, Foshan, and Kunming. Nearby airports in Shanghai and Nanjing provide flights to other destinations nationally and internationally.
TRAIN: Wuxi is connected directly to nearly every major city in China by rail. More than 60 trans stop at Wuxi's railway station from nearby cities including Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou, and Hangzhou as well as further cities such as Beijing, Harbin, Changchun, Shenyang, Jinan, Zhengzhou, Taiyuan, Xian, Lanzhou, Xining, Chengdu, and Urumqi.
WATER: For a unique scenic travel experience daily ferries to Changzhou and Suzhou depart from the Xishan Ferry Dock in southwest Wuxi.
ROAD: Wuxi is connected by nine major highways to cities including Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou.
