Expo Location: Waterfront of the Huangpu River between Nanpu Bridge and Lupu Bridge across the Huangpu River, Downtown Shanghai. Dates: May 1, 2010 - October 31, 2010.

Peak Day tickets are designed to control visitor flow on predicted peak days of the Expo by designating dates, limiting volume and increasing prices. They are further classified as Single Day Admission and Special Admission. Peak Days include “Labor Day” Holiday (May 1-3, 2010), “National Day” Holiday (Oct. 1-7, 2010), and the last week before the closing date (Oct. 25 – 31, 2010), with 17 days in total. |

What are peak days and standard days?
There are altogether 17 peak days, which are
May 1 - 3 (Labor Day Holiday)
October 1 - 7 (China’s National Day Holiday)
October 25 - 31(The last 7 days of the Expo)
Standard days are non-peak days during the Expo from May 1 till October 31, 2010.
Who can have access to special admission tickets?
The following people can have access to special admission tickets:
- The disabled: with valid certificates of disability issued by relevant institutions.
- Seniors: born in or before the year of 1950, with valid IDs
- Students: with valid IDs
- Children: taller than 1.2 m (3.94 ft)
* Please note that children shorter than 1.2 m (3.94 ft) can have free admission to the Expo.
