In Sanya, the composition of corals and shells in the practice of traditional Bonzai techniques results in uniquely beautiful works of art.

Crystal: Hainan is known for producing some of China's finest crystal. Here you can find crystal used in a variety of ways including necklaces, broaches, jewels, earrings, figurines, and vases. Seawater Pearls: Throughout China freshwater pearls are abundant, but in Sanya you can easily find seawater pearls, known for their larger size and vibrant, colorful nature. The largest seawater pearls that can be found here reach 1.5cm in diameter, and maintain an evenly round surface. The pearls in Sanya are used for both jewelry and decorations, while their powder is used to serve medicinal purposes.
