Hefang Old Street
Any desires to pick up some of the many beautiful handicrafts Hangzhou has to offer as well as enjoying the sights and sounds of old China, warrants a stop at Hefang Old 
Street. A stroll here amongst the architecture from the Ming and Qing dynasties will bring you back in time. The century old shop of Hu Qing Yu Tang and Wang Xingji Fans are nestled amongst the many shops. Although the original street has been rebuilt, this historic street reflects features from the Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279). Shops are flanked on either side of the streets and you can find such items as silk ties, scarves, parasols, teahouses, arts, crafts, fans, and restaurants. Also known for the large selection of various foods, Hefang Old Street is recommended for anyone look for a bit of fun, flavor, and shopping.
