Our Promise
U China Travel specializes in tailor-made travel. We strive to always create a comfortable and relaxing private travel experience for you. We are very experienced in working with family and business travelers. We also avoid the typical tourist restaurants, places targeting travelers. At U China Travel, Quality, Authenticity, and Flexibility are our top priorities.
As a boutique travel group we hope not to be the biggest, but strive to be the best travel company with the highest quality service in China.

Terms and Conditions
PRICE: All prices shown are in U.S. dollars. Air transportation is based on economy class and is subject to the rules of the particular fare utilized. Domestic transportations within other cities are by the local carriers. Price is based on two adults sharing a twin bedded room, double occupancy. A third adult sharing room with two adults will also pay the share twin price. U China Travel is not responsible for roommate match. A traveler request for a single room is required to pay single supplement. Child price is applicable for child 11 years and under (from the return day of the trip) and they share room with two adults without additional bed. Child 12 years and above will be charged at the regular adult price. All rates are based on the present value of foreign currencies in relation to the US dollar in effect on January 1, 2008. Prices are subject to change, when you travel before or during public holidays, special events and fairs, due to currency fluctuation or any unforeseeable reasons.
RESERVATION: Please have exact name as it appears on the passport for booking. The air ticket will be issued based on that name. A non-refundable deposit of $300 per person is due at time of booking. U China Travel will allow up to 72 hours for receipt of deposit. If the deposit is not received within 72 hours, the reservation will be automatically cancelled. For reservations made within 60 days prior to departure, full payment is due at the time of booking. Final payment of the total tour price is due 45 days prior to departure. Occasionally, payment for air ticket will be required sooner, based on the ticketing deadline assigned by the airline. If your payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation. Prior to the receipt of full payment, prices are subject to change without notice. Upon receipt of full payment, the tour price will be guaranteed. However, U China Travel reserves the right to re-invoice your reservation at any time should an error made in computing your vacation price.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE: A deposit in an amount of 50% of the total cost is requested prior to execution of the project. After we receive your payment, we will star to do the booking of the Hotels, Air Tickets and some other tickets. Payment in full or remaining balance is to be paid at least 45 days before Itinerary starts.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Cancellations must be made in writing as early as possible to prevent the loss of your deposit and any other payments made prior to cancellation. The amount refunded depends on how far in advance the cancellation request is received.
FOR CANCELLATIONS MADE:
-more than 30 days in advance of the tour: the fee is 50 USD per person.
-29 - 15 days in advance: 150 USD per person
-14 - 4 days in advance: 250 USD per person
-Less than 3 days: 500 USD per person
-Clients who fail to arrive for their tour will only be refunded 10-40% of the tour payment.
U China Travel reserves the right to modify the itinerary of your tour in the case of changes to flight times, or events occurring beyond our control, making such alterations as necessary. If the arranged tour is changed due to the client's own wishes, he or she will be liable for any corresponding additional cost.
ALTERATIONS: U China Travel aims to provide the best possible service for all our clients, and in their best interests we reserve the right to change any details of your tour (including flights, hotels and itineraries) at any time. In the event that any changes are made, we will contact you to inform you of the details as soon as possible, and any additional charges associated with the alterations will be borne by U China Travel. Should you wish to make any changes to your itinerary following the finalization of your tour and the payment of your deposit, these will be processed and you will be liable for any additional cost, as well as any cancellation or other fees incurred during the making of the specified changes.
COMPLAINTS: Any claims for compensation must be made in writing within 14 days of the end of your tour. Failure to notify the company within that time may result in your claim being declared void or reduce the amount of financial compensation available. Any complaints made will be dealt with as soon as possible according to our terms and conditions.
Should you have any complaints or suggestions about any aspects of your tour please do not hesitate to inform your guide or travel advisor as soon as possible to give us the best chance of finding a solution.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: U China Travel does not take responsibility for visas, passports, and other documentation necessary for international travel. We ask that all guests arrange the proper permits well in advance of their trip, before leaving their home country. A passport must valid for at least 6 months after the return date. The passengers must check with their booking agents or consulate offices regarding the entry requirements.
HEALTH DOCUMENTS: It is the sole responsibility of our guests to check the health requirements and risks of the areas they intend to visit, taking into account their own general health and any existing medical conditions. You are advised to visit your physician well in advance of your departure, especially if you are planning to visit Tibet, where there is a risk of respiratory and cardiac problems caused by altitude.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: U China Travel and all Chinese travel agencies registered with the China National Tourism Administration must provide ‘Travel Agencies’ Liability Insurance’ for their customers. This insurance guarantees the rights of both the agency and its customers, who will be covered for any accidents deemed to be the fault of the agency. We are covered for a maximum of 200,000 RMB, which is about 29,850 USD and this coverage comes free of charge with all of our tours. It does not cover customers who have only purchased flights or hotels through U China Travel. In addition, since this insurance does not cover any mishaps outside the control of the travel agency, it is highly recommended that all customers buy their own travel insurance before leaving their home country. In most western countries you should be able to find a plan that covers a wide range of circumstances including loss, damage and theft of luggage and important possessions, as well as flight delays or cancellations. We also recommend that you purchase medical insurance, and some visitors may wish to add emergency evacuation insurance as well.
UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES: Should weather or other unforeseen circumstances cause a delay in transportation, it may not be possible to include some sightseeing tours as scheduled. U China Travel reserves the right to postpone or cancel the tour, and any loss or additional expenses incurred shall be absorbed by the participants and is payable immediately. Due to varying water levels on the Yangtze River and/or construction at the Three Gorges Dam, Yangtze River cruise routes and shore excursions are subject to possible change. Furthermore, should political upheavals, bad weather conditions or the like arise, local suppliers conducting the tour reserve the right to alter the itinerary as necessary. Any additional expenses incurred shall be charged to the participants. If flights are not available at the scheduled time, we reserve the right to modify the air and land arrangements for smooth operation of the tour. RESPONSIBILITY: U China Travel is not responsible for any failures, omissions or wrongful acts committed by independent contractors not under the direct control of the company. Similarly, acts of government or authorities, political events, illness, epidemics, terrorist threats, unforeseen weather conditions and criminal acts committed by third parties are not considered the responsibility of U China Travel.
We reserve the right to substitute the itinerary, airlines, hotels of an equivalent standard etc with or without notice, in the best interests of the tour and our guests. In the case of guests behaving in an inappropriate or offensive manner, we reserve the right to remove them from the tour in order to protect the safety and comfort of our other clients.
As outlined above, responsibility for travel documents, suitable health precautions, and baggage is placed solely upon the client. We cannot be held accountable for guests who fail to obey Chinese laws and customs regulations, or the consequences of those actions.
Any activities guests decide to participate in during their tour with U China Travel are undertaken at their own risk. We will always attempt to provide suitable equipment and advice, but we cannot be held responsible for any accidents or events that take place after our agents and employees have fulfilled their duties and taken care to provide you with the materials and guidance required.
PRIVACY POLICY: We at U China Travel are committed to providing a high quality service for our customers, and will only use the information you give us to create your personalized travel experience. We do not pass your details on to third parties, and only collect the data we need to book your tickets, hotel rooms and any other reservations regarding your tour. We take your safety and comfort very seriously and will do everything in our power to ensure that your confidential details remain confidential at all times.
